Starter money usually means solid 1080p on modern titles with sensible settings. Not max ray tracing. Still a proper gaming PC for competitive play and everyday use.
Mid-range money tends to mean higher refresh at 1080p or comfortable 1440p in a lot of games. Stronger GPU and enough RAM so you are not fighting the hardware after every game update.
